Beacon Shropshire - What happened to DI?

Does anyone know what happened to Di, from the Ryan and Di breakfast show on Beacon radio Shropshire? She dissapeared half way through a show and hasnt come back.......

They have also removed her "20 questions" from their web
site.

If you look here at Ryan's 20 questions, it says at the bottom "Check out Di's 20 questions", but when you do they are gone.

My guess is she has been poached by a rival station.

Thanks, couldnt get the first link to work. I also noticed that the website had been cleared of all trace of her. Pity, Ryan and her made a great team!!

Hi catlady 99 - for the benefit of those who couldn't get the link to work - it simply advises that Di has left the station.

Reading between the lines, it looks as though she has joined a rival station - reason enough for her to be marched off the air - even in mid-show - although i stress this is purely speculation on my part.

Di works for Salop Caravans or Salop Leisure as it's called now!
Her contract wasn't renewed with bmgmedia who own Beacon Radio amongst others.
It's a shame because she was very popular.

I heard that Ryan and Di were talking about something they shouldn't have. They were both sacked apparently. Ryan is now doing fill in shows at Shropshire Radio. BBC 96FM.
