Good Morning Early Birds!

Friday is here, it's pi...err...raining hard. Yesterday was lovely on the canal, hot and not a lot of wind, but we created our own breeze as we toddled along, enough to keep it nice and cool. We saw some water voles! Beautiful little characters they are!

I've finally had a reply from minty. She is on holiday in the north of Scotland, no coverage on her phone, but she borrowed her nephew's phone, which had coverage, to check her emails and replied to mine. She is with mum and dad, along with her sister and nephew. It was a spur of the moment thing, A 'wee cottage' was available and the took it. they will be away another week. She sends her love to all the usual suspects. We can stop worrying now! :o}

wbm, yes all well thanks. Weekend at home and taking my girl out tonight, we havent been able to make much time for each other lately as we are both busy. I usually think weekends off are over rated but I am looking forward to this one

cheers, I suprised her with reservation at her favourite place tonight. I naturally had to tell her yesterday as she needs all day to pick an outfit and get ready!! Been a crazy busy month for us but I want to remind her how special she is to me and its nice to be able to spend quality time together. Have a good one yourself!
