Did I Overstretch?

I started stretching a lot recently (February 6th, I think) and went a bit crazy for two days, stretching. Admittedly it wasn't the best idea. My heels started hurting almost immediately after. I don't think it's overstretching, because it's not like my leg muscles hurt. It's more like specific points on my heel hurt when I stretch, like someone's poking them with a needle. Is that a sign of overstretching or something else? It's been going on ever since February 8th ish, and still is now.

This is not a good idea for sure.. suddenly stretching like crazy for 2 days is a clear NOT DO when speaking of safe stretching!

There are a few things you should avoid when stretching:

You need to avoid:
- Streching to the stage of pain
- Stretching when facing an acute muscle strain
- Stretching when you are facing a bone fracture or joint strain

Sounds like the first NOT DO is what is going wrong in your case..
