What An Idiot Day

faffed about earlier with some jobs in the house, don't ask me why as i am not one for housework, then had meeting which didn't go all that well, came home as the weather was absolutely dire, got soaked on the way, a parcel arrived which i had been waiting for, but i didn't like the item, so now it has to be posted back, e mails back and forth to company, frustration mounting, so have to find some brown paper, none that is salvageable, then the printer which i need to copy the original invoice goes tits up, seems the new ink i bought doesn't like the printer, aagggh. nothing on tv to while away the time and dinner has gone by the by,
what was your day like, better i would hope.

just thought i would get that off my chest, hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I'm faffing today, Em...which I shouldn't be. Sometimes when there are so many piddly things to do and think about nothing gets done...or at least there is no sense of achievement. Going away soon so I should pull up my socks and move. x

Fingers crossed for tomorrow emmie - think the weather is meant to be better so at least you shouldnt get wet doing whatever it is you get up to!

Hmmm. Me too. Had school run, dog walk, calls, hamster caught tooth on bar of cage, noticed tooth very overgrown, dropped off at vet. Did some more work, picked hamster up, constant phone calls from relatives/potential new clients, school run, fed children, animals, dropped one daughter at stage school half hour away, other daughter at friend's half hour in opposite direction. Had boiler serviced, another dog-walk and about to go and do evening calls til 10pm. On here now, though;-)

Oh Em, sounds like a horrible day for you. That's what chatterbank is for , vent away, I hope you feel better for it. I have not had such a bad day as you, in comparison mine has been uneventful even a bit dull. That suits me sometimes though. Chin up Em, xx

have to buy parcel paper, and wrap this item, get to copy shop now the printer has gone bust, and post office to get this item back to shop for refund, i will be very much out of pocket by the time this gets sorted.
don't buy much on line, so this is a bit of a pain.

Yes. I also have had a rubbish day. Took the car to Kwik-Fit, booked in for an MOT and service. They kept it for 7 and a half hours while I was stuck in Barnsley in incessant rain. Not fun!
