Cupid04, I don't recall Thine Be The Glory ever being sung at the Proms. Next year the Last Night will almost coincide with the Scottish Referendum on Independence, it might be a good time to reprise that fabulous piece from, I think, the early '70s, Northern Savages, Southern Savages, can't recall its proper title.

I got home last night to watch the very end, loved it, my late husband used to love the crowd especially the eccentric ones, we always watched the whole lot. Did they play the sea shanties this year ?
