I went to a lesbian wedding a friend's daughter it was held in a lovely country house owned by two gay men, the ceremony was in their chapel, the food was vegetarian and really good even though I am not a veggie, the entertainment included a Scottish piper, truly the best wedding I have ever been to.

It looks like she's a bit of a recent creation, and a bit of a minor character.
