Claiming for a windscreen

Is it wrong to claim for a new windscreen when someone's already cost their insurance company lots of money fixing their car after an accident? Or should they wait until they renew their policy?

It depends whether that person will lose their no claims bonus if they claim for the windscreen or if their insurance premiums will go up even more next year?

If they won't lose any bonus and they think it won't increase next years premiums, then I would claim.
