yesterday was such a super day,i enjoyed it so much,when we met we were given a lovely rose by DT.what a lovely gesture ?it was so nice putting a face to the names,nungate,queenie,alba and DT(and nungates other half)son was there with pal for 5 mins.but left to let us get on with the meeting,we had a lovely meal and a few drinks,my jaws are sore with laughing,the company was great,did'nt get home til after 8,there was an accident on the m8 so traffic slow.thanks guys for a great day and I appreciate the help yous gave me.

Irrespective of the type of flower, it was the most lovely gesture from a gentleman. Do you meet many of them at the mens' club? Probably not, mostly mysoginists. Don't spoil a lovely thread.

The weather got better as the round went on - the course one for the mountain goats so I am half-bushed now. However, the Belhaven, haggis/neeps/tatties all slipped down rather well. The game - well least said the better, though my chipping and putting were, surprisingly there after so much time away from the game and that saved my score from being a right off and around in +15 - the back nine far better than the first and I managed four pars in a row to salvage the card.

Monday looks as if it will be a challenge with winds forecasted at 25mph gusting 45.

No problem as to last year, that in part is what folk on AB are here for.....

Just thinking about heading over to nungateville to have a wee look and maybe a tea.
