Laptop Keeps Trying To Install The Same Updates ........
13 Answers
This started a few days ago ...... the usual thing - an icon appeared in the bottom right hand corner, informing me that new updates were available, so I downloaded them and installed them.
The next time I switched on, the icon appeared again, with more updates, so I downloaded them and installed them, etc.
Then even more updates the next time I switched on, so I decided to check the update history and it keeps telling me to install the same updates. According to the update history, I've installed these updates (several times) succesfully, so why does it keep telling me to install them again ??
I'm using Win Vista and the updates in question are:
Security Update for Microsoft Office 2007 Suites (KB2760588);
Security Update for Excel 2003 (KB2810048);
Security Update for Microsoft Office 2007 Suites (KB2760411).
Anyone any ideas why it keeps telling me to install the "new" updates, when according to the update history, they've already been installed ??
