Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

A bit more tricky than usual, hunting down/checking the extra letters is very time consuming! Gets much easier as the grid fills up though.

Thanks Daniel. I find this sort of puzzle a bit tedious (or tediousome, as an old maths teacher of mine used to say, probably about me).

Hi, teenieleek! you're right, it is frightening AND tedious at first, but it does work out quite easily in fact. Try getting the beginning of the quote, and you'll find the key word even in the smallest ODQ. Good luck: I nearly gave up at first sight, too!

Thanks as always Daniel .
I found this a hard slog .In fact when I saw it was Columba I was in two minds about throwing it in the bin. I'm not fond of his jumbles ....lol.
I've finished it though ,through sheer "doggedness" but am at a loss as to what to shade ..A small hint would be very much appreciated .

Oops, sorry Maurice but I only meant I find these sorts of puzzles a bit boring. Shaneystar2 - you're looking for a synonym for the last word of the quotation, I think.
