I took my friends to Purton, a pretty little village by the canal where the hulks are.

morning everyone

A bit chilly here and rain expected today. It was lovely yesterday though. Spend the day tidying the garden up which now looks lovely.
Ive just got to go into work a couple of hours today to cover over lunchtime and then off again tomorrow which is supposed to be a nice day.

No, from Swansea. But I have friends who are active in SARA ( Severn Area Rescue Association ) who first introduced me to the area. I am also interested in the old Severn Railway that used to cross the river near there. What happened to that little Pub up river a bit from the hulks ? I think it was called the Berkeley Arms. I know the landlord dies a few years ago but is it still open ?
