I have been with the original phone company since the mid 1970's. Its a little known outfit called BT. They provide every home in the UK with a phone line, if one is wanted. They have proved to be reasonably reliable over the years and I currently pay about £23 a month for phone and broadband. They are currently putting in fibre optics into my housing estate, under their Fibre-to-the-Cabinet program, so shortly I will have a broadband speed of at least 30 megapixies.

What's not to like ?
GiffGaFF on your mobile phone, cheapest in the country and use a MiFi for your broadband. Landlines will soon be a thing of the past.
I was with the Post Office for many years when I needed only phone and broadband and never had any problems at all. A good thing with them is that all call centres are in the UK. The thing with Plusnet is that they are owned by BT so maybe you wouldn't want them with the problems you are having.
"30 Megapixies"??

Do you mean Megabites Mikey. My 3 mobile MIFi gives me 12500Kbps at home and 3000 Kbps at my caravan, more than enough for my needs.

I'm with BT and have a phone/broadband/calls package for about £32 a month.
I'm also going to download, for free, their BT sports app so I can watch football, rugby, cricket, and tennis on my PC.
