Yes, I wondered if it was from a song, valerieb, but I just can't get it. It's my last one now, so keep thinking. Bloody Mary fits the number of letters, but doesn't fit the clue, except for having a girl's name in it.
Michelangelo did sculpt a pieta - it's the one in St Peter's basilica in Rome, and arguably the most famous. However, "pieta" is a generic word for a Madonna mouring over a dead Jesus, and as such was done by many artists, one of which is Bellini.
