I predict they will be on the roads for another 50 years. The fact that production of new ones ceases this year will not stop enthusiasts from respiring old ones.

It is a shame, however, like the original (and best) mini went out of production there was an outcry but they are still around and BMW reinvented it into something almost but completely unlike the original.

I believe it was to do with not being able to add up to date safety tech. So they will probably reinvent it but with all the fun taken out :-)

I won't be sorry to see the end of them they were rubbish, although I think I will see be seeing them on the road for quite a few years yet being the vehicle of choice with surf dudes !.

No I didn't, sweaty. There is a programme on tonight though BBC 2 10pm to do with Northern Soul, I will record it as I don't finish work until 10pm tonight.
