Profile Loading Problem

My husband booted up His site works fine, while on mine all I get is that the profile cannot be loaded. It was working last night. Please can any one suggest a solution ( in as simpler way as possible) Thank you in advance

Apologies myl for not getting back to you sooner, hospital intervened. I managed to log onto to my laptop , having read a possible solution elsewear before I read your reply. I did this by pressing the F8 key and selecting safe mode This completed I did system restore , which I am happy to say worked Thank you for taking the trouble to reply
