I've Been Out Of The Loop As Far As Anime Is Concerned And Was Wondering What's Out There For Someone Who Likes Cyberpunk Anime Such As Ghost In The Shell And Tehxnolyze . I Loved Ergo Proxy So What's Out There Nowadays ?

I've seen Serial Experiments Lain , Kino's Journey , Fullmetal Alchemist , Gankutsuo:The Count of Monte Cristo , most Studio Ghibli films , Noein , Haibane Renmei , Planetes , The Big O , most films by Mamoru Oshii , et al .
So recommendations along those lines would be much appreciated .
I'd really like to find an anime film or series that's a bit more cerebral than most mainstream anime .
