I am sure you could repeat this over and over each year as it is always the same. Bits of kids saying they have worked hard all their lives for this - NO YOU HAVEN'T!! Can anyone even remember who won last year?
I can't watch it now, feel sorry for the ones who are trying so hard only to be slapped down by these so-called expert judges. pips1 I feel the same about these kids who write their autobiography at 30 years old - what life have they lived at that age.
I haven't watched it for years, save catching bits of the odd final. Too much hype for me and I was never convinced there aren't more fixed elements to it. Seems a bit daft all the hype when most of them just disappear into the ether quite quickly.
I enjoyed some of the earlier ones though, Popstars and Pop Idol. Certainly worked out ok for Girls Aloud and Will Young.
Obviously not enough for the producers. It must be worth it for them for the very occasional real moneymakers to come from it like Will Young, Leona Lewis and One Direction. We all *** it off but it still pulls in the viewers and the hype.
Went off this programme years ago, it's always about the judges and when Sharon Osborne came back, I knew I'd never watch it again ! Prefer Strictly anyway.
I don't watch it attentively but it was on while I was ironing last evening. Does anyone like Sharon Osborne? She is as hard as nails, vulgar and foul mouthed and yet her hypocrisy knows no bounds when she tells "baby boy" ec that she has not chosen him. "Come to Mummy" "Give us a hug"! "There there"! It makes me puke!
