MM Links Results October 2013 Week 1

That was a tough challenge for most of you.
Now that play has drawn to a close, I can reveal that Psybbo's chosen links were:

Before I go into details I have some greeting to do. No, I don't mean shedding tears, but rather welcoming back old faces and a new player.

This week saw a welcome return of our Canadian players, the former 'Ont-Ices', now competing as 'Onty'.
'Teacher1' was the other returning lost sheep.
The new player was 'Zacs-Master'

The first link of BLACK MAGIC was claimed at the very start by beejay1124

Then the third player, tearinghair, spotted The Ed's avatar at the top of the Q&P page and was prompted to go for GARDEN GNOME. Seekeerz was also in time for a bonus on this one.

Right on her heels and with the clock still showing 9:01, Christiana stopped clowning around for long enough to suggest COURT JESTER.

So far - so good, but with so many possible links, vey few opted for the same choices.
In fact the final link of HAM HOCK wasn't suggested until after an hour of play when kawakiri felt peckish.

Although points were thin on the ground, we did get two late double-hitters who will have to share the honour of being this week's joint 'Hotshots'.
