Does anyone remember Sandie Shaw? She won the Eurovision Song Contest in the sixties, with a song called Puppet In A Box. I heard it recently and it was such a catchy little number. She married fashion guru Norman Hartnell and then seemed to disappear from the public eye. Did she become an Irish Politician or was that Clodagh Rogers? I know there is a connection somewhere along these lines.

Poor old Sandy - she was a bit miserable wasnt she? Could never afford any shoes and then sang a song with that Neil Morrissey fella from Bob the Builder.
She was the daughter of George Bernard Shaw you know?
She had a couple of kids - young Tracey went to live in Weatherfield and was a hairdresser and Martin went on to be be a Judge.

My stomach hurts!!
She lives just down the road from me in a little village (near Oxford). In fact, my friend in school used to clean her stables out at the weekends and we used to ride her horses. She keeps herself to herself I guess, no-one really knows who she is or what she does as you don't see her out and about much.
For the beneifit of anyone taking this seriously the song was actually called 'Puppet on a String'
Think the Irish politician was Dana?
Oh. I don't get it. I was being serious. She was a bit before my time though.
