Limosis
I would say LIMOSIS
6a Limosis
I'd imagine singular from the clue. But i don't know that word
I'm not sure that limosus is a word, anyway. It doesn't look right for a plural

There was a very similar clue in Crosswords a few years ago where the answer was limosis

I looked it up, but appears to be a type of crayfish. Gives polyphagia as excessive appetite.
Li`mo´sis (lî`mō´sĭs)
n. 1. (Med.) A ravenous appetite caused by disease; excessive and morbid hunger.
Thank you, factor. Well...i'll know in future:-)
