Moisture In Nokia Phone

It looks like my nokia has a drop of moisture inside it (it's a dark patch) and I can't get the phone to unlock. It's a touch screen AND button phone. It has a green arrow that runs from left to right across the bottom of the screen and you're supposed to run your finger across it in that direction to unlock it, but nothing's happening. It started going wrong yesterday lunch time. I have put a gentle blast from a hairdryer over it and I have put it in a bag of rice overnight. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix it? By the way it's not receiving incoming calls either. All it can do at the moment is tell the correct time.

I hope it is insured, do you know how the moisture got in. Some insurances cover moisture damage but not all.

Thanks Ratter, I'm not worried about the insurance though. It's all my reminders that are in there that worries me. My memory isn't great that's why I use reminders. I don't think I can remember them all to put them onto a new phone. I really need to get this working to retrieve all the info. It's either moisture or a dark patch, if moisture it's baby dribble.
You could remove the outer casing if not under warranty and heat with the hair dryer again. I've dropped my phone down the toilet about 3 times and all I do is remove the battery and get it so hot you can't touch it.
Obviously this may require hex/star keys or mini alan keys. It could be a problem with the touch screen overlay. If moisture has gotten into the phone the connector for the TS could be shorted. I've had this problem before and only yesterday did I break my touch screen for my tablet :(

Thank you for your answer Dizmo. Sorry your touch screen is broken. I didn't know mobiles could stand a high temperature, so I will have another go with the hairdryer at a higher setting. I have tried to get the front off the phone, but can't.
Phones can withstand temperatures up to and above boiling point so the hair dryer won't exceed that.

Thanks Dizmo. I have blasted the hairdryer very hot, but the dark patch hasn't changed yet. I'll have another go.

Still no luck. The buttons are working. I can also answer incoming calls if I SEE them (as it was put onto silent before it broke). I don't know if it's just the unlock arrow across the screen that's not working, or if the whole of the touch screen's not working, as I haven't been able to unlock it to find out. Any help would be much appreciated.

I was thinking of wrapping a hot-pack around it after heating it (the heat-pack) in the microwave. Would that work?
