I doubt it, how would they know what to 'see'? And I would imagine that the only people qualified to answer this question won't be on the internet to read it!

If anyone here has got a friend who has been blind from birth, I too would be interested in any answer they may give.

Yes of course they have dreams. Dreams are imagination. They know what most things look like through touch.
Sorry but they do not dream in pictures as sighted people do as they have no experience of sight. I found this a little dissapointing when I found out some time ago as I believe in reincarnation and thought that the answer to your question may have been yes to some extent.
I have known many blind children, some who were blind from birth. And they have absolutely no idea what anything looks like! They can't even imagine seeing. I can perhaps imagine what it might be like to be blind because I can cover my eyes and not be able to see. Blind from birth people have no experience to be able to imagine sight.

They dream of course, but in words, sounds and feelings.

NIghtmares too.

I am fully sighted and often wake after a dream, only to remember the feelings I dreamt, not what I saw.
And cheeky chops - you are wrong. A lot of blind people use the internet. They have software to read the pages out loud, and special keyboards to help them navigate their way around sites.
