The problem is that the thesaurus states both Prized and Pricey for Dear, so I assume that the Sunday Mail may accept both answers, but I thought that I would take advice from other AB'ers
Therein lies the problem stanbesida the choice is yours I'm afraid it all depends what they have decided on to accept or as you say hopefully realise this and provide leeway?
I see the problem, yes prized possession, is more treasured, which is dear to you
and pricey is your expensive as in not cheap. does it affect any words. you will have to put an asterix beside and tell them it could be either (I ther) or is it either* (e ther). Never known which is correct. Same thing
