I love flying.

:0)
Just as well
:-) ^^
This isn't flying.......it's the opposite!!
Can I open my eyes yet?
Is it about crashes??
Quite the opposite- It's very reassuring to see how thorough testing is now.
It's more dangerous driving to the airport that going on the plane.

Well, it is from here to Gatwick, anyway.
I was once on a plane that hit turbulance. The plane fell 10,000 feet and everything else hit the ceiling/ roof. Very frightening. people were throwing up every where. Babies were crying, passengers were screaming and Micmak slept through it all. Memories.
That's a deep sleep !!!
a plane I was on dropped though a little hole in space somewhere near London City Airport. I remember wondering why my hand, holding a G&T, was hitting the overhead locker.
JJ Mic could sleep for England. I have changed the bed sheets (in the past) with him in it by rolling him over and back again.
If anyone is nervous take yourself to your nearest airfield flying club and have a trial lesson. But beware - flying is addictive and you may just go on and on as I did. Aviation now my whole life.
Carp, how exciting.

I spent 24 years building commercial aircraft and I STILL love flying. The inspection process is so so thorough.
Very JJ. Achieved commercial pilots licence, did flight planning for Concorde, teach Flight dispatchers all over the world etc. Love my work.
that sounds nice, grasscarp, though in general I'd prefer to let others do the actual flying. I had a colleague long ago who flew for a hobby and often tootled off to places like Deauville for the day. But it sounded a rather expensive hobby.
Probably le Touquet jno. Went there often when training. Will say no more and plead the fifth amendment.
Jno, Grasscarp might be your colleague :)
no, no grasscarp is a pro, my colleague (now dead) was just an amateur who loved flying. His actual job, or part of it, was doing crosswords!
