Net Curtains On Double-Glazed Windows.
4 Answers
I have fitted some net curtains up on a double-glazed bedroom bay window. I purchased three of these expandable bars ( with brackets), so that I could hang the nets without having to damage the windows in anyway. I used this double sided tape to attach the brackets to the window & then clipped the bars onto the brackets. The two side bars, which are obvously smaller, have stayed up really well and have been no problem! But the middle bar, which is obviously much longer, doesn't appear to be able to handle the weight & keeps falling down!!! I was assured in the D.I.Y shop that the tape was really strong & would hold the weight with no problem, but this has proved to be untrue.
Has anybody got any ideas re: anything I can use to stick the brackets to the window?
Many Thanks
