Walking home with three of my children today - boy #2 nearly in tears because he had got stung whilst up the woods with school, thing 1 in tears because she was tired and had fallen and hurt herself and then my friend noticed that thing 2's baby tooth had fallen out (he didn't even know he had lost it). Felt like the front runner for a bad mother award.

I got pulled over by the police on a driving lesson (first and last time).

I got pulled over by the police for a brake light that was out. As I got out I tripped over the seat belt ( before the days of inertial belts) and fell straight in to his arms. I laughed, he said not funny and breathalysed me. I had the last laugh though as It was over a week ago since I'd last drank alcohol. Off topic I know but you were talking about driving and this is chatter bank.
