A roller garage door needs some head room above the door opening if you have about 2 feet from the top of the old door to the roof you could have a roller door,they are all remote control and you will need a electricity supply,I should just look in the local papers all companies give a guarantee,if you choose a local one you will know where they live,if something goes wrong

thanks geno5oo all sorted, had 2 quotes for a SeceuroGlide door both around the same price it wil be fitted at the start of next month
