We've only just got that ageing buffoon off the radio where he has developed speech patterns used by no-one else since Jimmy Young shuffled off.

His ludicrous cartoon Irish ramblings in which he altenated between whispering like a phone sex pest and roaring like a whaling captain were increasinly unbelieveable.

If we add to that his visual personna, that stupid wig, his 'twinkling' smile, and his habbit of lurching from one foot to the other like a man in the advanced stages of the hully gully - it is more than normal people can stand.
