Recycling Spectacles

I have just found out that used spectacles can be recycled for use overseas by handing them in at Boots or Specsavers.

There's a container up at our tip and in the recycling areas, too, the Salvation Army collect them too.

I've handed old pairs into the opticians.

Noticed that last time I was in Specsavers,
Will be donating on next visit.

When my father died we found loads of old pairs of specs.

It gave me a surprising amount of pleasure to donate them for reuse by the needy.
