Amil Nitrate
I've been reading Robert Hancock's biography of Ruth Ellis. Her victim - it seems - was a real sexual preditor, with several women to satisfy. According to the book, he took drugs to help him through his busy sexual scedule, and 'several phials of Amil Nitrate' was found in his pockets after he was murdered.
So, Amil Nitrate helps a man to 'perform' more frequently? This is news to me! I've heard from several scorces that male homosexuals use it to help their anus' dilate when their feeling frisky, but that's all.
Perhaps someone can enlighten me.

It is probable that David Blakeley used them as a stimulant, but not for the effect you suggested.
I agree, they are used for an instant hit that relaxes and makes you feel high for a very brief time. No long term effect.
