I'm Playing Wow And I'm Lagging, How Can I Prevent This?

I'm playing WoW and I'm lagging everywhere, not just major cities. I'm even lagging in the newbie areas. I defraged my PC, and uninstalled some old stuff but I'm still running slowly. Any suggestions?

Maybe the problem is at the other end ??
Have you spoke to other WOW users to see if they're suffering from the same problem ??
I used to play an online game aaaaages ago - some days it was fine and other days the lag was terrible ..... people were running round on the screen shouting LAAAAAAAAAGGGG ----- it was quite funny lol :P

You can adjust your graphic settings to low, that will usually help quite a bit, WoW is quite demanding for an old or low spec machine, it could also be your internet speed is low. When people in the game were experiencing lag all the time I was having no problems, even when my partner in the same room as me had lag problems mine was fine, I had a gaming machine built for me that was fairly good spec and mine hardly ever suffered from in game lag even when all the graphics were set high, so generally speaking I would be looking at PC specs first.
