Today's lesson is.....when making a bargain with a Yorkshireman, check the detail. ;-)
@Zacs - LoL :) I will bear that in mind...
When I was young(ish) there was a pub in Kingston, just outside Richmond Park that would sell you a pint of milk on draught.
I had one once for the hell of it - just to prove I was a man, as you do.
A pint of milk on draught at a pub? I cannot say I have ever heard of that before. Been to a pub that sold its own home made bandelion and durdock once, many years ago. Doubt they could do that now. Went down well at lunchtimes with a hot meat pie instead of the school meal the dinner money was supposed to be for :)

Shoota, I'm 51 and can remember the milk font on the bar in my local Tetleys pub.
I remember school milk and the taste after it was left next to a radiator... Guess I'm too young for pub milk :-P
I remember a pub in N Devon selling chilled milk on tap (circa 1983) It was when the local cops clamped down on drinking and driving which'did' for a lot of pubs because you couldn`t get to them without driving. I think the novelty of drinking milk in the pub didn`t last very long though.
What did LazyG do to deserve this? :)
I told Zacs about my calcium deficiency, and he was kind enough to get me a pint of milk, which is very kind of him.
:)
