Sending a fax via computer
7 Answers
I've recently bought a new computer with Microsoft Works 2010. As I do a lot of crosswords I'd like to save on postage by submitting them by fax where possible. (It also allows a slightly longer time for submission.) I see that I can send faxes via my computer but, each time I try to do so, I get a message telling me to do it via a modem. My service provder is Virginmedia (by cable) and PC World tell me I don't have a modem in my computer. Virgin were not much help either. It's been suggested that I can install a modem using a plug-in USB but I'm not sure what I should be looking for.
Can anyone help, please?
