But it's a squad game and some players are rested- so next time maybe Milner or Rodwell will come back in, boosting the English contingent.
For quite a few years most Chelsea and Arsenal (for example) players have not been English.

I think Man City won the league in around 1968 with an all English squad. In those days teams seemed to get through a season using only around 14 players.
