Bah, humbug! (A grandfather writes).. All babies look sweet ( and smell sweet to their mothers, strange lot). This one is nothing special. Contented for the millisecond of the photograph, eh? Reminded of a friend, father of five, being asked by a new dad "At what age is a child best?" and replying "They are all awful at any age, but in different ways!" Little do these new parents know.

And at the other end of the spectrum, when we have hardly any hair; possess no teeth; stare blankly off into space; utter strange inarticulate sounds; pee and poop with absolutely no concern at random; and are comatose for most of the day we are certainly not considered as gorgeous or cute are we?:)

I agree Ann, love that picture and I have a little 'un of my own, but can still appreciate another gorgeous baby when I see one.
