The air's still here and hardly a breath of a breeze. Is this the lull before the storm?

That televised run I mentioned earlier was in Southsea, Portsmouth.
I'm in west Cornwall and, although sunny this am but windy , very windy now with heavy squally showers. Wondering if the storm might be coming faster than they think. I'm travelling to the Isle of Wight tomorrow - what a day to choose!
Good luck with that Gill, hope the crossings go ahead. Condor ferries have already cancelled all their sailings from Weymouth to the Channel Islands today and tomorrow.
Thanks Prudie. Going on coach trip for 5 days so will leave it up to them to know about ferries. Should get to Shanklin late afternoon and then Tuesday to Thursday weather seems ok. So can only keep fingers crossed.
was ok earlier, but now ( central Scotland ) very wet and very windy :(
It was lovely when I went out earlier. Now I can hear the wind through the fireplace...
I've gone a bit mad here, taking advantage of this lovely bright and breezy weather. Washed the towels, bath mats, sheets, quilt cover and even the bedroom curtains. 4 loads in all, nearly all dry now and the last few buts just dancing in the wind.
LOL. buts dancing in the wind :)
