Getting hungry now. What happened to the Sunday dinner thread? There always used to be someone on cooking her delicious food, can't remember her name, but she always recommended a nice wine to go with it.
pan fried -is there any other way of frying eggs? Deep-fried? I don't think so. Anyway we are having stew and dumplings I put in the slow cooker before I did my 28km charity ride for the Air Ambulance in the rain and wind. I'm having it with a smooth Australian Shiraz, a nice piece of west country cheddar with crusty bread, then some pears poached in red wine with vanilla ice-cream for afters.
