Physiotherapist said those who suffer asthma/emphysema dont get arthritis - is this true/why/how ?

My mum has COPD and arthritis, so no, it isn't true.
Interesting............never connected the two and I don't think that there is any scientific evidence for this.

I suppose, if the patients with lung problems were given steroids, then that may be an interesting observation.

absolute rubbish.....and he's a physio anyway - why does he think he is a doctor/research scientist? s/he needs to stick to their paygrade, methinks.
I have copd and arthritis in my spine, so no it is not true.
I'm asthmatic and have rheumatoid arthritis.
