I was in Smith's recently and was asked if I'd like anything from the counter....the staff look so disheartened when they ask that. Akin to being asked if you'd like help with your packing when you only have 4 items...

Really hope you get the job at Waitrose.....I think it'll be a breath of fresh air for you.
