Do you think it is too early? I kept my avatar for the year, as a lady I new loved the picture and had a major stroke and died at the age of 57, so I choose to keep my avatar on for the year in memory to her, I will change it after the 27th dec, but jeez, do you think it is a tad early?

The firework celebration for Guy Fawkes has been cancelled here in Dover. They used to charge a reasonable amount for people to attend - they cancelled it because they lost too much revenue with people not paying, parking outside and just watching from a distance.

It's too early for me, but I don't mind other people putting them up as they always brighten up the dark winter nights. Mine go up the first weekend in December. Love all the twinkling lights .......

The (rubbish) tv channel Movies 24 has already done its annual rename to Xmas 24, non-stop seasonal films.
