yukky brown hair going grey
has anyone got any brilliant advise on hair colouring that i can wash in at home.something that will last a little while and boost my confidence.i know grey highlights can look ok on some people but i would like to blend it in a bit .also
has anyone had acupuncture cos i had first treatment today and just wondered what other people thought of it.mine is for a semi frozen shoulder.look forward to hear your views.cheers

However, I've found it difficult to nail down the right shade of brown because they all seem to come out darker. A hairdresser told me this might be because as you get older (and greyer !) your hair will absorb more of the colourant. Have currently been using Auburn shades (109 or 109A) but prefer them after they've been on for a couple of months when they don't look quite so vibrant. . I usually recolour every 3 - 4 months and next time am going to try a lighter shade such as Natural Dark Champagne (106B) on the basis that lighter colours might look less obvious as the amount of grey increases. So if I don't like it and you see a lady walking down the street with a paper bag over her head it will probably be me !
And on your other question, yes, I have had acupuncture for a very painful frozen shoulder. It did relieve the pain level somewhat, but didn't improve the flexibility at all and it still took about 18 months before it was completely healed. I can only suggest trying to keep it moving gently despite the pain. Hope it heals soon.
