I rather muddled through this one often getting the answer before figuring out why. Not my favourite theme (to say the least) but thanks to Google not hard to research. Perhaps the extra hour in bed helped those little grey cells but I didn't find this too challenging despite my ignorance of the subject.

Hello Twit-Who,
I enjoyed this, despite the fact is was quite straightforward. Certainly a lot less challenging than last week's offering!
Very enjoyable puzzle, lots of thematic material packed into a small space. Googling the first 3 "clued without definition" answers as a group took me right to a page that explained it all; I knew all this at one time but had forgotten all of it!
I too admit to total ignorance about the theme but really liked Jaguar's cluing and have learned something new. Thank you, Jaguar. More please!
I am familiar with the theme, although still managed to make wrong initial assumption. I also really liked the clues I have so far solved (still 4 or so to go).
Very enjoyable puzzle. Thank you Jaguar.
I don't usually do the EVs, but was prompted by a pdf in an email from another ABer.

Nice puzzle - very enjoyable - like Dr B I did once know all this stuff, but ...

Lots of extra thematic bits in the final grid too - very entertaining.

Thanks Jaguar.

Like one or two others I vaguely knew of this stuff.

I followed the same method as dr b and googled the first few undefined
clues.
A very enjoyable puzzle which led to me read up more on the theme.
Thanks Jaguar
Like Twit-Who,I muddled through this one, and with no knowledge of the theme at all. I still have a couple of clues for which I haven't completely sussed out the word play, but basically finished. On the whole I enjoyed it. Now it's back to last week's offering. I'm off to Scarborough this weekend, so next week's will wait until my return.
Am in a similar position to Christiana, but......
My final part of the eight part riddle is 15 letters not 13.
Either...
a) I'm wrong
b) no one else has noticed (unlikely!)
?????
Put three or four of the 'without definition' answers into Google, Life's a Beach, and read down until all is revealed. I, too, had a fifteen letter answer until I did that .....but, no.
Oops - I'd got the wrong "creator"!
Thanks.
Hi all,

Thanks for the feedback -- this was meant mainly to be a bit of fun rather than challenging. I didn't realise there was scope for a second possible "creator" -- wonder what people have in mind?

Anyway, I'll have a bit more to say once the solution is released over at fifteensquared.net's dedicated blog.
