Heatsinks

Recently I posted an item here regarding remote controlled sockets and am grateful for your replies. I bought a set of three and have now received a follow-up email from Amazon telling me that people who bought likewise also bought accessories including an Aluminium Heatsink set of 3 for Raspberry Pi.
What has Raspberry got to do with it? How do I know whether I should have 'heatsinks' and where would I fit them? Advice appreciated. http://www.amazon.co.uk/tag/heatsink/products

Raspberry Pi is a basic micro computer which plugs into your TV for video. It's more of a developers/teaching tool. A heatsink would be useful if you were working it hard but why you'd need them for your rc sockets I don't know.

Ignore it. This is a standard Amazon thing.

In other words they tell you asbout everything else other people put in their basket when they bought the same thing you bought. This in no way means that the items fit together or work together.

Purchase 'options' and no more than that.

Now i've looked at that i'll receive similar messages no doubt! Ignore them and enjoy your new sockets.

All these tech things do make you worry if you are not accustomed to them. If there was any danger from overheating then surely it should be against the law to sell them. Thank you very much for your responses.
