Felt Tip Pens For Adults?

I have seen some gorgeous adult colouring books I would like to buy as gifts for Christmas, but what do I buy for them to be coloured in with? I'd prefer felt tips for the depth of colour, rather than pencils, but wouldn't they show through the back of the page onto another picture? Are there such things as decent, adult, felt tips? Or should I just buy a pack of 50 or 100 colours in W H Smiths?

^^Those Alphonse Mucha colouring books are lovely. I have some watercolour pencils but they are perhaps not strong enough colours for them.
Well Spudqueen, you've tempted me! I've just been on Amazon and bought 3 of those lovely colouring books. I can't wait to start colouring! When I was little, my Mum used to buy a pack of paper doilies and I'd colour for hours. I remember the felt pens I had then; you could see the liquid ink and they had a hard felt tip. Happy days.
How sad that we (cf Amazon link earlier) now have to use the rather juvenile expression "grown-ups" because of the seedy connotation now attached to "adult".

We are slowly losing our splendid verbal inheritance to examples like this, (e.g. "gay","straight"). Where will it end ?

Thank you everyone, and yes, it is the grown up rather than 'adult' colouring book I was referring to! I think I'll go for the 50 or 100 packs of felt tips, they are half price in WH Smiths at the moment. I might even treat myself, as I used to love colouring in!

If she hasn't got arthritic hands how about this http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Gorgeous-Colouring-Book-Grown-Ups/dp/1782431535 plus some felt tip pens?

Oops - sorry peeps - replied to the wrong question there! duh
Check out Derwent pencils' website. They have some lovely ranges and a gallery of work done with different ones so that you can see what they look like.
Sharpies. Expensive but excellent.
