Irresponsible Dog Owners

Prompted by another thread, I have decided to stick my head above the parapet. I don't like dogs, but each to their own. What does irk me is dog owners who let their mutts off the leash and then cannot understand why I am less than delighted to have their beloved pet jump up at me, drool on me, sniff inappropriate areas of my body and on one occasion pee on my leg. In recent years one of my children was knocked to the ground by a large dog, one very wet dog ran out of the sea and slap into the middle of our beach picnic and the worst incident was when a large dog ran at one of my kids who ran into the road to escape it and was knocked down by a car.
Time and time again I either hear peals of laughter from the owner as they utter the words "He just wants to play/he wouldn't harm a fly/he has never done that before."
I am not having a go at dog owners per se.
Please keep them on a leash and away from other people.
I will now sit back while the abuse flows in.

im a dog owner but my bug bear with other dog owners is not cleaning up their mess. its lazy ,disgusting and not necessary
