Our little cat has had to wear a collar and be kept indoors for two weeks following an operation.I feel so guilty putting the collar and seeing his sad little face when he can't go out.I am worried that when he is able to go out he may look for a better home !!!!!

For the rest of the day he wouldn't look at us, and would literally turn his back if we spoke to him. Not sure if his pride was hurt, or he was just teaching us a lesson. He soon forgot and everything was back to normal, so I'm sure it will be the same with your little cat.
One of our cats can be a real bitch, hissing and beating up on the little one, if you keep bugging her, she might even take a swipe at you.
However, it doesn't matter what you do; she hates having her nails clipped, she hates being combed, she hates being locked in, but as soon as you stop doing what's bothering her, it takes her about ten minutes to come back purring, and lying in your lap.
I've had her for nearly eleven years now, she's moved with me from England to Germany, and I don't think she's ever considered moving out.
