.....and no eggs means no custard which in turn means no crumble!

I'm now feeling very grumpy and wondering what I can serve for pud this evening.

Bum bum bum, I'm really fed up :-(

I have apples, frozen brambles, physalis.

Store cupboard stuff.

Cream and milk.

So I could make a tarte tatin and serve with cream but a crumble is so much quicker...........
Like I said - cream and crumble is fine, the combo of cold cream and hot crumble is yummy.

Have you got a tin of evaporated milk in the larder ? Would be nearly as good as custard !
Dont ask me, my bloody chooks have ALL decided to have a molt and have laid 7 eggs between then in the last 8 days. Useless sodding birds.

I think, and I really do hope I've got it right, that I have found two sticky toffee puds in the freezer which I can serve with cream.

If I've got it wrong we will be tucking into twice cooked soufflé.....

Mr Cake hates cream with crumble......don't understand the issue myself but there you go....he is a tad odd!
If the cream you have is double-whip it. Lovely with anything....yum.

I agree pasta, just try and convince Mr Cake!

I'm fancying a posset but I doubt I can get it made and set in time for supper.

I'm going to cross my fingers and toes that it is STP I've found in the freezer......

Botox, oblox and horlicks....

Tonight's supper will be....

Roasted belly pork with wonderfully crispy crackling
Roast tatties
Braised leeks
Steamed broccoli
Savoy cabbage stirfried with onion, lardons and garlic
Cider gravy



To be be followed by soufflé.......salmon frigging soufflé........
