its usually, and i say USUALLY included in your tax code...
Is that £560 cash or an increase in the personal tax allowance?
I don't see the need to pay a third party to do it for you.
If you think you may be eligible just ask your employer, union, workmates or HMRC.Applying is simple. Don't use a third party

Yes I realise know that the link highlights the issue, but is a 3rd party outfit. Thanks.
you can only get it if your uniform needs special care and there is no option to get it laundered at work. i clsimed it for all of my working life in the nhs, similarly there is a pn allownce that can be claimed for membership of your professional body but not for union membership.
Yes, I did. I just phoned the tax office myself. It wasn`t a huge amount though and it`s being paid via my tax code.
I find it very hard to believe anyone would receive £560 cash for 5 years uniform rebate (the maximum number of years you can claim).

The standard allowance is £60 per year added on to the tax allowance, meaning an extra £12 PER YEAR in the pocket for standard tax payers. If the employer cleans the uniform or provides dry cleaning vouchers or similar you cannot claim.
