Try in your dishwasher. Ours comes out nice and clean.
Bleach, Milton, dishwasher tab, washing powder tab, Steradent tab, dishwasher.

SS with a metallic smell is somewhat unusual, if none of the above works a swill with lemon water may help and then leave to air.

Add a good scoop of washing powder and fill tea pot with boiling water and leave to cool. If that doesn’t work try leaving dry Bicarbonate of soda in the tea pot for a while, it gets rid of smells in a fridge; it might work in a tea pot.
