Does anyone use Brighthouse to buy home products? If so what have you bought? How much do you re-pay a week? What do you think of them? Ever had a problem with them?

Brighthouse suck, im currently going through tanin there asses in court, i had 2 deaths in my family over a space of a week so things were more important than brighthouse. I wrote them a letter and explained that situation and payments would be put on hold until i had got over the deaths. They then wrote a letter back calling me a liar and said i was using the death excuse 4 not paying?? How dare they. I hit the roof and got on the phone and ripped in2 them, check this - 'they wanted 2 me 2 take the 2 death certificates in 4 proof' how sick is that? they then called my refs up 2 ask if i had 2 deaths in my family still not believing me. I though they cant discuss my business with 2 old employers so i called 4 advise and im doing them 4 data protection. and under a section 40 act. Plus ive reduced my payments from 15 to 1 a week, national debt line r classic and help loads, as long as u make a payment each week brighthouse can not do a thing. They cant even take the goods away, they have 2 av a court order. There just a small time company who think they can be bullys 2 scare u. Well @ the end of the day ive got the last laugh on them and have a nice plasma tv 4 1 a week. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
my partner and i,have had a leather three piece suite and an american fridge freezer off brighthouse and pay 32.00 a week.loads of problems with them.since purchase our three peice suite has started falling apart after endless requests for a repair nothing has still been done so we have started holding our payments and now are threatend with court.any advice would be greatfully recieved
zippy, do not withhold payment!!!, we have a issue with them at the moment, we have entered into seven agreements, and have paid them a total of 6000 pounds in 2yrs, it started just before xmas, we paid 200 on our accounts only to be called the next day and told we were in arrears!, we attended the shop and asked for an explanation, not happy we requested "statement of accounts" on all items to date, they refused, so i threatened them with Trading Standards, this seemed to upset them, eventually she threw 2 pieces of paper at me from her printer, we examined them, and noticed it refered to 7 agreements not 6, we have only signed 6, to get to the bottom of this we sent a registered letter to caversham finance, requesting copies of our agreements, it was acknowledged on 8th Feb, we did not recieve anything for a month, 11th march we contacted TS to get them moving, they did and eventually got the paperwork, 6 agreements plus 1 fraudulent agreement for a TV stand, for 200!!!, with a poor attempt at my wifes signature,..since march, they have refused to speak to me or accept payment(not that I wanted to), they have deliberately held back a default notice so i could not respond in 7 days, we are due in the county court next month, can't wait....as they think we have not noticed the false agreement. we have a suprise in store!!!!!.

I have used brighthouse to buy a fridge and cooker. Firstly when i went in they offer you coffee and a chit chat to reel you in. Then, although the total cost of the goods was only 9.00 a week i am paying 11 a week. Also i had the rep wait outside my house for hours to me to come home cos i was late home they threatened to take my stuff. They hounded my mom at work and my sister and then told me cos i was a day late i was to pay double.
I wanna know how i can pay only a 1 a week cos now my income has been lowered to 60 a week!!
